About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Step 1: Ski, Step 2: ???, Step 3: Profit!
ABOUT ME
I'm outdoor oriented but not as hard-core as many of the people who live here are. Skiing isn't so much of a hobby of mine as it is a religion. I collect knowledge the way someone might collect stamps or comic books. I'm a nerd.
PHILOSOPHY
I wish I could say that I didn't have one but that would be a personal philosophy, now wouldn't it?
Seriously, I have no fixed philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm taking a leap of faith here and guessing that by providing a couch I might somehow be advancing the goals of the CS2 project.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a great time so far hosting and hanging out with other couch surfers. This community is amazing.

Books: Harry Potter, His Dark Materials (Golden Compass Trilogy)
Movies: Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Phantom of the Opera, Quantum of Solace (best Bond movie ever!), The Watchmen
Music: Anything that sounds good. Value can be found in any form of music. Special mentions are going out to Social Distortion, The Creepshow, Slush.
TV: Jericho, Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Fullmetal Alchemist, Battlestar Galactica (I don't care what the old sci-fi purists say, the new series is fracking awesome), Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Tudors, John Adams, Stargate, Star Trek, Penn & Tellar's Bullshit, Pushing Daisies, Supernatural, Life, Monty Python, Rome, House, John from Cincinatti, jPod, Eureka, Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once told an impromptu story for a bar audience and it resulted in me busking enough money to buy me more beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge is free. My knowledge of Whistler is both free and valuable to any couch surfer. My knowledge of everything else is free too but it tends to cause the victims of my advice and lectures to bleed from the ears.
