CURRENT MISSION

To make my last semester of college more interesting before I begin my own surfing.

ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing gal. I graduated college with a creative writing major back in 2009. I lived in MN until I was 21. Since then I've been living in Austin TX and am currently very involved in the local Poetry Slam community. I spend most of my time writing, dancing, or exchanging stories. I'm usually very nice--sometimes too nice.

PHILOSOPHY

If there's no God, then all we have is each other: do what you can to help, and do what you need to to live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer hosting for now. When the time comes to surf,I'll be ready.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch hopped among friends and the friends of my friends. I've never had trouble finding a place to stay and so want to give back. I've only had one surfer stay over so far.

兴趣

writing, performing, conversing, strolling. I can certainly be one to hit the bar to drink and dance, but I'm just as happy at home cooking. I like trying new food and meeting new people.

I like giving simplistic drawing lessons and enjoy work shopping short fiction/nonfiction works as well as poetry. I occasionally teach a little about poetry, nothing formal.
