Grew up WAY out in the country.
Moved to the city and never looked back.

I spend most of my free time skateboarding and reading. I will soon be returning to my work on the book I want to write. I spend a fair amount of time on various creative projects and D.I.Y. ventures. I have made 10 skate videos now. I film all of the Steel City Derby Demons (Pittsburgh Rollerderby) home and travel bouts as well as edit and author the DVDs.

Personally, I'm very motivated, fairly self-sufficient, in possession of humor and a quick wit, quite active, engaged with life, and a quick study. I'm an astute observer of the human condition and personal motivations. I'm a consummate self-editor and have worked hard to build myself to be the person that I am. I am brutally self-critical in pursuit of this self-editing project. I hold people in high esteem and to high standards.

I spend a great deal of time with my 2 housemates (one is on here) and my younger brother when I can get the money to go visit him. When I'm not feeling motivated and just want to stare at something I play Thrasher (PS1), Tetris, Dr. Mario, Driver II, and sometimes Tony Hawk II.

I love driving. I ride a motorcycle. I was taught to drive at 12, used a chainsaw around 8 or 9, rode a 3-wheeler and motorcycle around 6, and had my toe broken stacking wood when I was 5. I've broken many bones, sustained lots of various unnamed and forgotten injuries, messed up my back, and almost lost my left eye (I now have no central vision in it). I've helped give stitches, self-medicated many of my own issues throughout my life, reset a dislocated shoulder, and broken almost all of my fingers at various points in my life.

There are no heroes.

Knowing my younger brother and friends.

Everyone has times when they feel like they can't do it and are going to quit. Sometimes there has to be someone within sight that keeps going ahead of you and doesn't stop. Sometimes you need someone to catch up to. We travel in a big, shifting pack. Sometimes you're in front and sometimes you's straggling. We drive ourselves forward with our own momentum. They keep me going.
