About Me

CURRENT MISSION

survive america

ABOUT ME

I'm very laid-back, liberal and I love to travel. I love art too.
From September 2007-November 20, 2009 I was Peace Corps Volunteer in a rural village of southern Morocco, working in the small business development sector- working with the local women's carpet weaving association.
I am not at all ready to return to the US, so I moved to South Africa to do yoga and get in shape, and in the near future, backpack and volunteer on organic farms through WWOOF. I plan to spend 2010 traveling through SA, Swaziland, Mozambique, and my ultimate dream: Madagascar.

PHILOSOPHY

be the change you wish to see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted lots of CSers at my earthen mansion in the Moroccan village and had a fabulous time opening my home to fantastic people from all over the world.

I've surfed couches in Africa and even one in the US. All exchanges brought new, genuinely kind, interesting people into my life.

Interests

working towards sustainable living and in the meantime trying to shrink my carbon footprint, gardening, animals and plants, making art and art museums, cooking and eating healthy food,(bikram)yoga, backpacking, photography, music.
