ABOUT ME

I am an 18 year old girl from the little village of Os, located in Norway:) At the moment i live with my mom, my two older siblings've moved out, so its just little me here with mom. I study arts at a high school in the neighbor village, and i love this school and the people there:)
In my sparetime I dance alot, stay with friends and do a bunch of crazy stuff^^ I also spend alot of time with my family, my grandma and aunt live 10 meters away from our house so.. :)the whole family gathers alot, especially in christmastime.

Anyway, I simply looove traveling, the feeling that it gives me is... unique:) And i have a passion for Latin Amerika. The culture there, the dance (love the salsa and reggaeton!! wow^^!), the people, the language...todo!:) And there's a very interresting history over there, which I wanna learn alot more about. My plan for the fall of 2009, is to go to Guatemala. There I will study (more) spanish for about 4 weeks, and then I'll be working with kids and youths. After that, the plan is to go to Méjico^^, now my education will really kick off.. i hope!:S;) the plan is to study traveling and economi for 4 months, and afterwords I'll keep studying the same, just in California.. so i think atleast...I always gotta have a plan.. for several years ahead!!I guess I drive the people around me alittle crazy because of that^^ butbut.. Well.. this was a very short description of me ,maybe there's someone out there wanting the same things as me and having the passion for the same things as me, so I hope:)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in faith. I believe all things happen for a reason, and there's no wonder i have this view on life. Its because Ive experienced alot of things that I simply cant believe is a convincidence. I also believe there's alot out there we dont know about and maybe we arent supposed to know about those things? Do I believe in ghosts, you ask? well, I believe in spirits atleast. When a person dies, he or she isnt always really gone, like the naturelaw sais she or he is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

MY first experience with couchsurfing, was the fall of 2008. The spanishclass was going to Málaga, and our teacher introduced us to Couchsurfing. She had gotten to know some people there who we could meet during our stay in Spain. And so we did. We met two young boys, Rafael and Sebastian,who showed us the town and.. a salsabar;)..that was an unforgetable experience:)

Interests

I love dancing, like Ive already told you about^^ I also have a passion for dogs.. when I get older, Im convinced I'll get a Labrator Retriever. I grew up with a dog like that, so that's why i have a fondness for that type=)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is Titanic, so i think atleast:) otherwise its Pirates of the Caribbean (the first movie;)) :) I dont read so much.. only Donald Duck^^ I think Ive read all the cartoons all the way from the 60's x) My grandma is a collector you see;) And my favoritte music at the moment (and for the last 2 years) is reggaeton and salsa. Tony Dize is my big hero, I think he is a bit different from the other musicians. But I also like the rythms of Don Omar;) And Nickelback, the canadian band:) Their lyrics always hit me in some way. I always manage to identify myself with the frases, and it always helps listening to music when you are feeling down. When the lyrics hit and fit you, you know you're not alone about the issue you are dealing with^^;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont quite know what's the most amazing thing Ive been a vitness of in my lifetime.. but i have a lot of great experiences, such as experiences with my friends and family. One time, my friends had made this really huge poster, with a frame. inside there was a bunch of photos of me and them, and some really nice saludos from them, it really set me to tears, was so nice! there's so many moments with them that's been so great, I dunno where to start! So I bether not^^ Just the most important thing, -they are great, I love them.
Ive also had moments with my family thats been unique:) (well, every single moment with them is, Im lucky to have a family like this) This christmas all of us gathered, ate and laughed, staied togehter for a long time all 15 of us, and it was so great. Having them all around me.
And oh! one amazing thing Ive seen...i remember.. I guess its the Colosseum in Rome.. wow..
