Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was couchsurfing in Amsterdam, Venice and Cardiff and had guests in London from Australia, Belgium, Taiwan etc. Planning to do some traveling again next year and happy to show around everyone in Budapest!
Interests
I'm passionate about all kinds of art, including films (I have a huge dvd-collection), photography (bought my first DSLR camera in May and fell in love straight away), music (although I cannot play any instruments), literature so I often pass my time in museums, galleries, concert halls. I love to play chess and tennis. I also like skiing and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I watch every kind of movies excluding the lame comedies and funny-romantic stuff. My favourite directors are Lynch and Burton. I like so many I can't list them here but just to give you an idea what kind of films I'm into: Oldboy, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, The Silence of the Lambs, Garden State, Big Fish, Tell No One, Into the Wild, Myrin, Napoleon Dynamite and so on.
Music: I'm a great fan of Radiohead and had the opportunity to see them play alive in Victoria Park, London last year. It was AMAZING. I also listen to some Icelandic bands like Sigur Ros, Olafur Arnalds, Mum, My summer as a salvation soldier. From the Hungarian bands I like Quimby, Kispal es a Borz, Heaven Street 7, Masfel, Hiperkarma. My eternal favourites are REM, U2, Massive Attack, Beck, Jose Gonzalez, Offspring, Iron & Wine.
Books: Recently I read many novels from the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, my favourites are Kafka on the shore, Norwegian Wood & The Wind-up bird Chronicles. Generally I like the sci-fi or mystical stuff, eg. books from Kurt Vonnegut, Philip K. Dick. The ones from I can never get enough are School at the Frontier (Geza Ottlik), Journey by Moonlight (Antal Szerb), Cather in the Rye, Master and Margharita, Papillon (Henri Charriere) and 100 Years of Solitude.
