ABOUT ME

I have just graduated from the University of Edinburgh and have been working at the Edinburgh International Film Festival as Events Assistant. I am about to embark on a two month trip to the USA and travel in California, Oregon and Washington.

Edinburgh is a fabulous city and I live with my boyfriend Craig in a lovely flat.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is important to try and be friendly and kind to everyone you meet (not a particularly exciting philosophy, but I think it is a good one to have!)

Interests

I love films but don't have very specific tastes as I generally like most - quirky independent films to massive blockbusters. I like going to museums, art galleries, cinemas, theaters, restaurants and exploring new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to loads of different types of music, films and books.

I particularly love films. Some of my favorites include Moulin Rouge, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Garden State, Cabaret, Little Miss Sunshine, Cinema Paradiso, When Harry Met Sally, Rushmore, Pillow Talk, Festen, Stardust and Black Narcissus though there are simply too many to list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a reasonable amount about infectious diseases (from my degree studies) if anyone wants to know about them?! My boyfriend Craig can teach you blues and swing dance if you come to visit. I have been trying to perfect the perfect traditional Scottish shortbread recipe and would love to make some for you if I came to stay!

I would love to learn about peoples lives and the towns they live in.
