I am a history student with a great interest in other countries, their culture, background, politics and people. I have a natural thirst for knowledge, adventures and meeting people from different societies than my own.

I love to travel (which I guess is not that much of a surprise). I have travelled before and after, but my most influential travel was two years ago where me and a friend toured the southeastern parts of Europe for a summer. That experience was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking scenery, and meeting people from other cultures so relatively close to home, but living so different lives was an absolutely eye-opening experience. I believe in ever evolving oneself - trying to be a better person continously through life, and I sincerely believe that travelling, meeting other people and learning about different cultures contributes significantly to that process.

Besides from all the pseudo-deep stuff I just blurted out, I consider myself a humourous person. I love sarcasm and thinks that it is very important to not take life and oneself to seriously.

I am in Copenhagen most of the summer. This september I will study abroad at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the US.

I live in a dorm room in Copenhagen, so it is possible for me to host, but not an optimal option considering the size of my room. But I would love to show people around or grab a coffee/beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It seems to be the perfect combination of travelling and meeting people. Meeting people from other countries is really exciting, invigorating and enlightening and I love, that Couchsurfing presents that opportunity.
