About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life's every second and learn from it

ABOUT ME

I am someone who is fascinated by people. The best thing in life is to meet people who are all so different and to learn something from all of them. I love speaking and litstening to folk speaking funky sounding languages from around the globe. Music is something very important for me. Playing, listening and dancing to it!. I feel most relaxed when I'm outdoors doing something active. Generally I am a very motivated person who likes to get involved with different things. Although I'm a very sociable person I also really appreciate spending time alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been brought up within a very open household which is always full of visitors from near and far. I see hospitality as one of the most simple yet meaningful things you can give somebody. For me, CS creates that important first link between people who are all so happy to extend and receive this gift. I want to be part of that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Jeez...where do I start? From the moment I started couchsurfing in the Carribean Islands I'v had some of the most amazing moments of my life... Sitting on a beach in Guadeloup, watching the sun rise and drinking rhum on New Years Day...a tour by night of Antigua's old harbours and towns...Dancing Salsa and drinking Aguardiente in Cartagena...

Interests

People - friendly, smiley, lovely people!
Music - that can make me feel however it wants, whatever the DJ puts on for a dance...
Travel - the best education I'v had so far
Outdoors - Sail, walk, cycle...because I like to feel the wind in my hair
Languages - Just like music...each has it's own melody and charm. If you can master it you can communicate with anyone in the world

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music. I like to listen to the indigenous music of the place i'm in. I think that helps you to link the people and the culture with the landscape. However, I do especially love the traditional music of my country, Scotland. I play the accordion and the whistles in the Scottish Traditional style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped into the sea mid-Atlantic with 6 miles of water beneath me
