Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot of people and i also try to surf now and then.
I once was an ambassador for CS but have been more on the passive side of couchsurfing lately due to the fact that it's not so easy to host for me anymore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only positive so far!
I hosted a lot of people at my place, always interesting to meet other people!
The hosting is fun, but the surfing itself!! that is just the best thing ever!
Surfed in US, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Viet Nam,....

Interests

I love to cook and drink a nice glass of wine or beer.
I play some guitar just for entertainment, i love to sport and try to be active from time to time. (cycling, swimming etc)
Also dancing i consider a sport, i have been swing dancing (lindy hop) for 3 years now, its great fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

lately i have been listening a lot of postrock, but anything is great, very much depending on my mood i can enjoy any music, as long that it's not too much about one thing. Getting in to Jazz now.
i don't tend to read, i think reading is a bit oldschool, there is better ways to consume information. ;-)
Movies,..... if my memory is correct i think Memento was a nice movie....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was at the pukkelpop festival in Belgium and all of the sudden a giant storm broke lose. i won't forget this, 5 people died, may they rest in peace!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could learn you to play a song on guitar, a couple of swing dancing moves, how to make a Belgian beer-infused beef stew, how to speak French or English, or just how to enjoy life in general :-) and oh yeah, technical stuff. (if any fans out there.... Hello??)
