Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed with Daniel in Vienna for 2 nights in the summer of 2006. We were a little cautious about the idea at first, but it turned really great and we wished we'd done more during our vacation! Thanks especially, Daniel, for the night tour of your beautiful city, even though we were EXHAUSTED! :)
We also stayed just two states away with Reid in Montana in March 09. It was so much more fun and informative to have a good host family than just stay in a cheap hotel!

Interests

Music - Listening, performing, philosophizing. We like to have people over for poker nights, potlucks, wine & BBQs. We like going to movies and open-mic acoustic music shows at coffeehouses, often participating. We like our dog a lot. We like good food and spirits, swing dancing, libraries, understanding people, making things (Jan), history/news (Marcus), board games, comedy, karaoke, hiking...
