About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To try not to keep too still...
PHILOSOPHY
Ale:
* Learn as much as I can about myself and other people. It's the only way to explore what makes me happy, and to interact as best I can with other people (it amazes me how hard both of those are).
* Don't get bored. Because I feel very stupid when I'm wasting the little time that I have alive :)
Interests
Ale:
Human psychology, computers, a little music/movies/TV series, board games (chess, go)...
I tend to get bored with what I know, from time to time, and then I try something new. Last 3 were switching to Linux, learning to play go and starting to learn wing chun ;)
Naty:
Cooking (I especially like to try recipes that I haven't done before), reading, watching movies/TV series, traveling...

Music, Movies, and Books
Ale:
* Movies: So many to list... American Beauty, Lost in Translation, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Terminator 2, Cruel Intentions (I shouldn't have liked it that much, but... :P)...
* Music: Again, so many... Rock from the '70s and on, pop (the good old kind, like Queen), metal (classical, heavy, power, gothic), uruguayan popular music, inca music, celtic music, and electronic music to dance.
* Books: Dune, Ender's Game (and a couple more from the same saga)... not much of a reader, really...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ale:
I'm currently programming the firmware for an implantable neurostimulator for chronic pain relief. Not much credit goes for me, because I'm obviously not the brain behind the project, but if it's completed and it works, I'm still going to feel very proud that I was a part in making a contribution to helping a lot of people.
We've bungee jumped, probably the greatest rush we ever had... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Ale: I can teach about computers and programming, engineer-level maths, chess and go. About learning, I can't think of anything that I want to learn, because when I do, I usually start learning it immediately :)
