I'm Aish. I'm 19 years old. I'm an Engineering undergrad student from Chennai, India. I love travelling, cooking and gardening. I also love reading books. I'm kind of introverted but once i get to know the person, I'll be the craziest friend you'll ever have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I'm an introvert, I love meeting new people, experiencing their culture, knowing more about their interests and maybe even learning a thing or two from them.

Interests

I love reading Books. Sometimes I just forget the world, being engrossed in a book. I also love cooking and experimenting. I learnt cooking at the age of 12 from my grandparents and I still follow their traditional recipes for authentic South Indian cuisine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Kind of depends on my mood. Adele and Coldplay for sad days, Backstreet boys and Linkin Park for lonely days ... I also love classical music and jazz.

Books: Harry Potter, Jane Austen novels, Jeffery Archer books, Dan Brown, Paulo Cohelo, Ayn Rand, Shakespeare, Poetry, Classics, Fanfiction, Autobiographies and Travelogues.

Movies: I'm not exactly a movie buff but I love waching rom-coms. Oh, and of course, Harry Potter. I also like watching Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard's movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started Travelling alone from last year :)
Traveled around Vietnam, made a lot of friends and a hell lot of happy memories for a lifetime.
Came back home and started traveling again :P
This time it was a small town. (Pondicherry, India)
Will travel solo again soon. ;)
