About Me
CURRENT MISSION
lets restore faith in humanitY, one couch at a time :)
ABOUT ME
I am a former researcher, now an Oncology Nurse. I love solo travel and I find it best to do it with a local. Im low fuss, low maintenance and would love to be helpful to you during my stay.
The importance of International travel has been instilled in me from childhood; at 91 my grandmother was still travelling the world. I wear her cartouche around my neck, Egypt was one of her favorite destinations. She took me to spain/portugal for my 15th birthday and outdrank me, out danced me.... i'll never forget it.
But why else do I love to travel?..... From childhood we are taught how differentiate ourselves from others- by nationality, by race, by occupation etc. When you travel you delight in the creative differences but you are always reminded how similar we all are.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had some wonderful experiences and met some amazing people. I spent a month backpacking Europe and had some of the best times with my hosts- attending one of their Christmas Parties upon my arrival in Copenhagen was unforgettable.
