Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making the world a better place, one child at a time
ABOUT ME
I'm a Montessori teacher, which makes me a very patient man, fairly optimistic, but quite idealist and sometimes vocally passionate, not to mention obsessed with details about facts as fascinating as the life expectancy of butterflies or a nice new demonstration of the pythagoras theorem.
PHILOSOPHY
Zen humanist, I don't believe there is any kind of truths to be found outside. No good or evil, nothing beyond the veil of illusion. But once this has been laid down, you can either despair or embrace joyfully the world devoid of inner meaning to put your own and paint it in nice colours. So, nothing is real, but it's not sad, since there is plenty. Let's choose joy and happiness and make the world a nice place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Newcomer, and after way too much travel these last years, quite happy to repay some couch karma by simply hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Again, way too much. I'm a devourer of music, I've got very varied tastes, with a particular interest for unorthodox and unusual music.
In movies, I like the same : movies that dare go outside the mainstream, be it in terms of aspect or substance. My top movies are Natural Born Killers, Wings of Desire, Brazil, Nine lives of Tomas Katz, The King and the Mockingbird, and a few more...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with sea turtles in Sri Lanka.
Seeing my first born son for the first time.
Walking in Ryoan-Ji Zen temple.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher, so if you don't stop me, I'll have tons of completely useless and nerdy stuff to teach you.
Accordingly, I'm interested in anything, from knitting, to pottery, to the esoteric mysteries of the rules of cricket.
