About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Helping people travel as easily and consciously as possible.
ABOUT ME
Hi Everyone! I'm a Miami local recently transplanted from New York. I've been a high school teacher, cook, hospital researcher, and most recently, work in hospitality technology, helping people to travel more easily and comfortably. I've been fortunate enough to travel throughout West Africa, Asia, and parts of the Caribbean and have surfed in the Dominican Republic (2x), Trinidad, Turkey, Curacao, Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil, and the US. I´ve also hosted groups from France, Germany, and Denmark. I'm passionate about languages, education, learning to cook local dishes, health, cities, bachata, Soca, and fishing/nature.
Having been the lucky recipient of the hospitality and generosity of many, I would love to return the favor. Miami is a city that many visit but few get to fully experience and I am excited to get the chance to share it with this community!
PHILOSOPHY
"Real adventure - self-determined, self-motivated, often risky - forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of mankind - and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both."
