Hi there :) I'm a 22 -year-old guy that just finished university and started traveling. I'm from Spain, specifically from the Basque Country. I was born in San Sebastian, but have also been living in Bilbao and Seville due to university and recently a few months in Mombasa. I have known a large part of Spain and Europe and now I'm traveling around East Africa. I've done a few volunteerings in this travel: I've been in a permaculture project in Zanzibar, teaching in primary school in Arusha and helping in the biggest school for disable people of entire Africa in Mombasa. Now I'm just hitchiking around Kenya and yeah, loving the experience so far :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Well, I've tried it before with friends and the experience is really cool. I just love traveling and speaking with people, I think is the best way to end up knowing the culture, and Couchsurfing is an amazing tool that allows you exactly that: to know people and share experiences. Being honest, I prefer a thousand times to stay in a couchsurfing or just meet people and be with them to stay alone in a hotel. Do not interact, you get bored, and you do not learn anything from the people of that place! In the end, is this not about sharing and learning? :)

Música, películas y libros

Hard to tell, in the end I love music and it's kind of difficult to name all the bands or singers I like. Love Jorge Drexler, Ben Howard, Natalia Lafourcade, Mercedes Sosa... Same with movies, but idk, some goods that got in my mind now for example: The Man From Earth, The Pianist, The Shawshank Redemption... love Disney movies too and I watch tons of series :D

Well, I think I wouldn't have started reading books if it's not for this saga, so at least I should mention Harry Potter, loved it when I was a kid (And I still do). Love all kind of books, from fantasy (Rothfuss and Sanderson my favs) to classics, I even read comics and stuff so yeah. In general I love reading yup :)

I once ate 20 sardines by own when I was 8. Yeye, no kidding. That story is still told in the family.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I think we learn and grow as people as a result of our experiences (both good and bad). I know that every time I venture into something unknown, I will end up growing and learning much more than if I had stayed in the same place all my life. And there is only one life, so better to live it.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

People tell me that with me they are able to talk about things that most do not dare to do. Their feelings, fears, dreams ... I think I am a very receptive person, who knows how to listen, and I will always give you my most sincere opinion. I like to love and be loved, and I am, in general, a very happy and positive person :)

The typical thing is to say That I'll cook you some local food from my country. Well, I can cook you some spanish food, although I don't know too many recipes (I survived my university years cooking pasta and rice basically hehe) but love learning how to cook and yeah, we can cooperate!

I think in the end it's just sharing knowledge, experiences and love. That's what I offer, and of course lot of fun yayyyy!!!! hahah :)
