I've surfed, I've hosted, I've attended local meetings... CSers are good people and have terrific stories to share!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 4 weeks backpacking through Western Brazil, Northern Argentina, and Uruguay meeting the best people along the way.

I can't pick one, so here are my top two:
1. Hiking up to an active volcanic crater at Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Costa Rica. It has since erupted and the trail was closed.
2. The wonderful people in the Amazon that took me into their homes, cared for me when I was very sick, and bent over backwards to help me finish my research!
