Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you Prague and take you to the climbing wall and teach you how to climb right or we can just climb together:) And if you want to see the highest peak of the Czech republic, I can go with you or give you a recommendation for cheap accommodation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I don't have enough time to cover all coucher's requests for hanging out or hosting, I'm sharing with you some local tips publicly:

Breakfast:
- Oh deer bakery: http://www.ohdeerbakery.cz/ - amazing and very famous Czech cronuts
- Home Kitchen: http://www.homekitchen.cz/cs/ - perfect for salty and sweet breakfast, great coffee
- Libeřské lahůdky - typical Czech snacks, you should really try chlebíčky (garnished bread, types of sandwiches) at least.

Bakery:
- Antonínovo pekařství - many kinds of bread and delicious (and pretty cheap!) cakes.
- Pekárna Kabát - very good bakery

Patisseries/Cafés:
(I won't recommend anything with trdelník as it isn't, even though the producers say the opposite, a typical Czech cake and furthermore it's a pretty expensive piece of sweet dough only).
- Myšák: https://www.mysak.ambi.cz/ - a renewed patisserie from the 20s. You can buy here a special Czech sweet cake called větrník (a cake made from the choux pastry with caramel and whipped cream). My boyfriend loves this type of cakes and he says it's the best in Prag!:)
- Světozor - a very famous Czech patisserie with a lot of cakes and chlebíčky. Even people who don't live in Prague know this brand.
- Waf Waf - a new concept with a beautifully decorated and delicious waffles
- Votre Plaisier - a young French patisserie with amazing desserts
- Leli's cupcakes - the best cupcakes in Prague and they look fabulous!
- Cukrář Skála - typical Czech cakes
- IF Café - amazing desserts

Icecream:
- Creme de la creme - home-made icecream
- Angelato - very famous shop

Lunch/dinner:
- U Kroka - a famous restaurant with typical Czech meals
- Výčep - a very good Czech restaurant with traditional but modern Czech meals
- Mr. HotDog - a hipster bistro with really tasty hot dogs and sliders, probably the best hot dogs in Prague
- Kmotra - if you don't like Czech cuisine, I can recommend you this Italian restaurant

Beer and Cider
- The following pubs have a big offer of beers from small Czech breweries: Bad Flash Karlín, Zlé časy in Nusle, Base Camp in Letná and Galerie piva in Krymská. Personally, my favourite ones are Bad Flash and Galerie piva.
- Český cider in Podskalská - a shop with a lot of Czech ciders and also tap ciders, open till 7 p. m.

And two more tips:
- If you want to know more about how the Czech people are, about our history, customs and typical meals, you should look at this map: https://www.use-it.travel/cities/detail/prague/
- And if you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the Prague Castle and the Vltava river, you should visit Vyšehrad (subway station Vyšehrad and then like 10 minutes walking): https://www.google.com/maps/search/vy%C5%A1ehrad/@50.0638392,14.4145853,15z/data=!3m1!4b1
