I am Arun Rakesh and I come from Chennai. I am an IT specialist. Throughout my high school years, I was interested in the subject of global warming. It led me to start thinking about protecting the environment from human activities that are responsible for carbon emissions and other forms of pollution.
After a few years working, I started my own business to live the kind of life I wanted. It didn’t satisfy me however, so I left this business and dedicated myself to cycling so as to raise awareness of climate change. I was saving up some money and left my job in 2019. I’ve been cycling to spread awareness about the cause since then.
I cycled across 12 countries including Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah (All 7 EMIRATES of the UAE) thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Srilanka . I wish to cycle through all the countries of the world during my lifetime.
