I center my travel around my interests, which are to:
1. get certified in Mountaineering, Scuba Diving, and Paragliding (Yes! one activity on land, sea, and air)
2. experience all other adventurous activities
3. travel to 5 new countries each year
4. eat authentic food from old establishments

I believe in backpacking because it's the best way to understand the local culture. Couchsurfing exponentially adds to this experience, since I would be spending time in a local's house.
