I'm new to this whole traveling thing, but I like it! I get all jittery and excited ( and a little nervous) whenever I embark on a new trip. That being said, I looking for adventurous people who are interested in adventurous things. I'm about a 6 on my imaginary adventure scale( I can't eat a lot of cool things because I don't eat dairy, travel in the US is hard because I don't know how to drive, and lastly I'm super poor being a recent college graduate).

Before Americorps, I lived mostly on the east coast in Maryland and North Carolina. I have traveled to Italy, Brazil, and South Africa. I plan to return to all three, but I have a couple other places on my list I have to check out.

Without being too political, traveling for me has been a very interesting experience. As a black American, I find that there are some limited perceptions of us in particular regions and I hope to change any misconceptions. At the same time I also look forward to broadening my own view of the world.
