About Me

Hello! My name is Chris and I am currently traveling around SouthEast Asia. Traveling has always been my passion and i have been traveling since I was a baby. 9 months ago I decided to make traveling a full time hobby and I have not regretted that decision. Traveling on a really tight budget and that alone has made me realize if you want something bad enough you'll figure out how to make it happen.

I am shy when you first meet me but once we get to know each other I can be outgoing. I'm a bit of day-dreamer and you can often find me with my heads in the clouds just analyzing and over-thinking things. I love meeting new people from all walks of life and i am extremely open-minded. I'm a really curious person which is why I love traveling so much. I want to see what's out there, how other people live and interact with other people from different parts of the world, and to see if I have what it takes to make it around the world on my own.

I've just discovered the joy of hitch-hiking and plan on doing it from now on as much as I can to travel around the world. I feel like it's the best way to have a human connection with another living soul as well as see the country for what it really is and not just what tourism makes it out to be. During this trip I hope to further develop my spiritual side as well as get into yoga and get fit and flexible.

For other travelers if you're ever in the same area and feel like we would get along feel free to drop me a message!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Besides that it's pretty much budget friendly the other reason why I am on here is because from what I hear it's a great way to meet locals. That is what i'm really interested about especially after discovering hitch-hiking. The locals will show you their country through their eyes and take you to places you would have never known about. Plus you can sometime get to live like a local. I'm definitely not all about the tourist attraction.
