Hello, I am Dhruv and I am a medical student living in Miami. My life is quite busy right now with school and all that, but I would like to do some traveling before I become locked down with clerkships and residency. I am a very easygoing person. Some of my interests include rock climbing, ping pong, computers and video games. I also like learning about plants, cooking, classical musing and music theory. I love watching basketball and football and even play ultimate frisbee on occasion. My friends would say that I am a very relaxed person, with an odd sense of humor. Simply put, I'm just a chill dude who wants to try new things and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was younger I lived in many different places around the United States. Eventually I moved to Florida with my parents and lived there for most of my life. I'm couchsurfing because I want to see more of the country and experience different things. I want to get away and go to places that I have never been before. Because I'm a medical student, I wont have time to do much traveling in the future and I would like to make the most of the time I have now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to all sorts of music, but my two favorite genres are classical music (especially romantic period composers) and metal. As for books, science fiction novels are my favorite because they take my mind to different and exciting new worlds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I went on a road trip around the southern half of India on a motorbike with my cousin. Saw some neat places, met some cool people.
