ABOUT ME

a few of my favorite things:
bikes, cats, birds, dinosaurs, tetris, the center of a venn diagram, wordplay, clarinet, adventures, creeks, climbing trees, swings, swimming at night, childishness, rich colors, being barefoot, singing in the shower, electronics, scavenger hunts, epics, chases, disney, talks about anthropology/the universe/everything/nothing, depth, water, cheese, entropy, seeing people where they aren’t usually, when things fall into place.

PHILOSOPHY

It'll work out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only is it a place for lodging, it's a way to meet a local and learn the insiders' information to a place! Respect from both sides opens the doors to new understanding.

I've hosted people just passing through, I've held a house show for a couchsurfer, and, of course, my house's door is open every time friends come through.

I've surfed a little bit in the U.S. and Europe, and look forward to what comes next!

Interests

Talking, biking, discovering, exploring, finding the local watering holes (literally and figuratively), and hanging out with people who like having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like them very much.

Just a few,
Eternal Sunshine, Amelie, Oh Brother Where Art Thou
Broken Social Scene, Des Ark, CocoRosie, St. Vincent, James Blake, Dan Deacon, Bonobo, and so many more.
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (best traveling book), Jitterbug Perfume, The Prophet

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked through the forest to a seaside Nordic Viking Festival in Denmark, and afterwards, took a stroll in the deer park to make some furry friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anthropological thoughts, science thoughts, thoughts turned into graphs/curves/trends, ridiculous silly dances, funny faces, cat humor, tree-climbing...

When I host, I can show you lakes, bars, restaurants, bike paths, adjacent towns (which are also really great places), schools...what are you looking to find?

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany

Countries I’ve Lived In
