ABOUT ME

Well.. Some would say I'm a strange duck, others a trusted Ali. If I had to sum it up in a few words I would say creative, stimulating, and true.

I care deeply for my community and go into life's opportunity wholeheartedly, knowing that each day is not like the one before. I take risks, leaps of faith, and know that all I truly need will always be provided. I travel from place to place, city to city in search of the true folks that light up the world around them. I'm a lover and a protector for my family and for those who come to me open and full of light as I do them. Vulnerability is the gateway to our hearts. See u soon :)

PHILOSOPHY

Yowzas..

I think we are all created the same. I think our experiences in life mold us into our preconceived conceptions of who we are. I think this is a choice and not only a result. We all always have the potential to grow, expand, and shapeshifter into new forms and embodiments on our own personal quests for the truth we hold dear.

I think all religions are an attempt to quantify and explain this energy and feeling we have all experienced at one time or another. Each is right and wrong simultaneously. It is up to use to create our own concept or philosophy of life and self. All these religions, prophets, and guides were put here to help us realize own own version, we were not made to follow anyone else's idea or way.

We are all members of the rainbow family of everlasting light.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in the same way that I approach life, wholly and undivided.. I can be a leader and a creative follower given the circumstances of the scene. I love community and think they are vital for all facets in life, an extreme extrovert as some may say. I bet that is a little more common in a forum like this. :).

One of my big goals is to create a cooperative artistic and creative space for communities to form and flourish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted people from couchsurfing in different homes I've lived in in Bloomington, but haven't stayed with anyone yet. My guess is because planning comes a little late for me and sometimes the heads up people need to respond is not quite taken into account. I'm working on it. :)

The people I've hosted have all been great though and I would open my doors again for sure.

Interests

I am interested in creative spaces and people. I love to mold, shape, and build things out of steel and many other materials. I have a sculpture degree from Indiana University and look forward to continuing in this education as well. I love to build strange vehicles and am currently designing a steam powered car and a self charging electric one as well.

Anything by Kahlil Gibran. Predominately philosophical narratives otherwise. I am a student of many religions and perspectives.

All good writers and musicians are welcome. I've made it my goal to be open to as much as possible.. The anti- hipster one might say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled, Snuck in to places, found love and lost it. I've taken care and been taken care of. I've fed and clothed and been there when needed most. I've built, created, and made profound propositions.. Some right some wrong. The goal is to always make pele question, to always seek more. I turn ideas on their head and supported my own truths. I want to see so much more!
