Just east of San Francisco lies Oakland, a quick and affordable train ride away. Hit the trails in Redwood Regional Park to see massive redwood and Sequoia trees and enjoy a great hike in the shade.
Make your way to Jack London Square for the great restaurants and Beer Revolution, which features 48 rotating taps for an awesome refreshment break. While you’re there, check out the waterfront and the USS Potomac.
