ABOUT ME

I enjoy baking, reading books,I think science rules! I like listening to the economist,going on bike rides, being random. I dye my hair a lot so my look is always changing,I figure its only hair if you don't like it cut it off it will grow back. I try not to stress out on the little stuff in life. When asking my friends to use one word to describe me, caring, compassionate, and nerd where the top 3 (in that order)hope this helps you get a feel for who I am, If not hang out with me sometime and decide for yourself. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people and go to CS events(sometimes with cup cakes or other sweets ), and this summer I hope to be hosted on my trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted couch surfers,and gone to local events in the bay area as well. I have also couch surfed in the past but it was be for i knew about CouchSurfing.org,I plan to use it more this summer.

Interests

I'm in to punk rock the sounds & thoughts that come with it,its not a fashion its a way of life(for me at lest). I love to cook and bake, read good books and wright on the side and/or underline good parts. Going to the pubs is always fun but I am not so big on 5$ + tip Guinness so i'd rather hit up the corner store with some friends and get a few 12 packs and go to the beach or some thing.I'm a big fan of speaking your mind and knowing how to listen to your heart.I don't like my space, most corporations,2 faced people or lier's. I love good chocolate and good conversations.I greatly enjoy the randomness of life and the way that thing will often just work out maybe not as you though but non the less they work out.I'm also a huge fan of cuddling with my amazing boyfriend Jamie for hours on end... my Interest is life in short. I want to live it not watch it on the side line.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! there's so much passion in it and it cost very little but gives so much back to us.I am very much in to underground punk and some old school punk as well. How ever I enjoy a lot of music and am open to most anything(just no mtv pop bullshit). there are a tone of great books I like/love just to name a few ...the corporation,1984,the perks of Being a wallflower,demon haunted world,a clockwork orange,freakonomics,a brave new world,the giving tree,I'll love you forever,men who stare at goats book,Despite everything,the primal screamer,memoirs of a geisha,on the origin of species,absolutely zippo, Franny & Zooey, the catcher in the rye,Ishmael, My Ishmael,why beautiful people have more daughters,Quirkology,and a lot more ...
hmmmm as for movies, princess bride(the only book I think where the movies better,lol)anything by Hayao Miyazaki, suburbia,repo man,Mr & Ms Smith, an inconvenient truth,quills ,secretary ,breakfast at Tiffany's,V for vendetta,spike & mike sick & twisted shorts,bad taste,rock & roll high school and a tone of other ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I'v done is go sky diving(2times) its truly unlike any thing I have ever done it was breath taking & gave me this feeling of peace and Clarinda as I had the rush of free falling down to earth (and maybe my death, lol)at the same time.YOU HAVE TO TRY IT,IT WILL CHANGE U.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think its a wasted day if your not learning something new or if you haven't did something new...that being said, I am open to any skills you can/want to teach me.I can teach you how to cook,bake,make great strong drinks that taste like juice, teach you what kind of foot strike you have,and lots of other things given the chance.
