About Me
Hey there! I’m Gabi. Brazilian that decided to take a sabbatical year and moved to London so I could travel around the old continent and practice English.
I’m a little human with a quite big sense of humor. Making people laugh is one of my goals in life 😆
People say I’m extremely friendly and talkative (sometimes a bit too much). I’ll probably ask you a thousand questions about your country and your culture. For me that is one of the best parts of travelling, to get to know how different the world can be on the other side of the border.
Ps: the one year is already over but I still have too much to see so I gave myself some extra time
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Any movie that brings pleasant emotion (that’s a fancy way of saying: anything apart from horror movies)
Books that I can finish in less than 3 months (like Russian classics.. they are really good but not easy to carry around once they weight more than me)
Music..I’m in my folk/indie phase. But I can listen to a bit* of everything (*maximum 3 songs hahaha) I have also been listening a lot to the classics of Brazilian popular music-MPB (guess I’m homesick)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went hiking from Thira to Oia (Greece). It might not sound that impressive but in the 34 degrees boiling midday sun it is a big deal 😅 (yes, I know it wasn’t very clever to start at 11am)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook a great Brazilian meal (with dessert!)
