About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Whatever I can for whoever I can whenever I can... including making as many people laugh and smile
ABOUT ME
Traveling, laughing, music, emergency medicine, pediatrics and people are my main passions... it's all about the people and "culture indulgences". OK, so maybe I'm addicted to traveling... and I'd do almost anything for a fix! I'm generally a glass is 3/4 full kind of guy that finds it important to have a hearty laugh at least once a day.
I've lived in Pittsburgh, Ireland, India... Did medical school in San Francisco, and now am doing residency in Miami!!!
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to it's fullest.
Strangers are simply friends we haven't met yet.
Be more afraid of not living than dying...
Happiness is never having to see your airbags...
Couchsurfing rocks...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
One of my most favorite people in the world, Drake, says it best: "To open our homes and hearts to strangers, to treat them as brothers, brings us all one step closer to a more peaceful and accepting world."
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Some have been planned, some have been last minute rescues that lead to books written (thanks again, Bill!), but all have been worthwhile

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Int'l news pulling someone from train tracks, drove in the US Presidents motorcade, met the Duke of Kent, drank heavily with the police chief of a province in Poland and a mayor on St Paddy's Day '05 in a little bar in Kwidzyn, Poland, lived in Ireland, recorded CDs and soloed in Carnegie Hall, whitewater rafting, skydiving, spelunking, ran emergency clinic out of a big trailer with disaster team in New Orleans, help run an ambulance service in India, taught emergency medicine globally, studied for the MCATs whilst surfing in Europe, started an NGO... hehehe life has been great! I can't wait to see what comes next!
