About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find inner peace, be groovy, live my dreams.

ABOUT ME

I like thinking about things from wildly different perspectives. I like crazy ideas, and will try to give fair consideration to everything. Yet, I am also an inherently practical person. I like to have a plan. I've had people tell me I'm a good person, and I guess from some perspectives that could be true.

PHILOSOPHY

Live consciously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am totally new to couch surfing! But it seems like an awesome way to meet new people, share what I have to offer in my home and travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Eeep I have none, though I've heard great things!

Interests

I'm interested in osteopathic medicine and am currently traveling around the country for interviews. Though I work in science and am fascinated by it, I also have a deep appreciation for the arts. I love to read, especially if I can learn something from the book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Authors: Margaret Atwood, Kurt Vonnegut, Philip Pullman, Leo Tolstoy, E.M. Forester, Aldous Huxley, Irene Nemirovsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Burning Man- So much creativity, so many smarty pants, so much inspiration. I loved going to burning man in the mindset of a scientist, yet ready to learn from the artists there. I think that the two depend upon each other more than we realize.

* The Amazon river- So many crazy species, such a different way of life. I was impressed with the knowledge of the people concerning the environment and their ingenuity for living in such a variable and dangerous place.
