Hi:) My name is Ivan and I come from and live in Zagreb, Croatia. I am 21 year old student of Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb and a professional handball player playing in Croatian 1st division. Those two are my main occupations and with that being said, they consume a lot of my time. Consequently, I try to use free time for some useful leisure time, for example hanging out with my friends, reading, learning new stuff on internet, or in best case, traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a new member of Couchsurfing community. I heard few very interesting experiences from my friends and their friends so I opened my mind to the idea of couchsurfing. Recently, me and my friend (faculty colleague) started planning a trip by train to some European cities. We bought an Interrail ticket and started looking for accomodation. At first, we thought we should sleep in hostels, but we decided to try something different, and Couchsurfing that definitely is. I am looking forward to interesting experiencies and acquiring new acquaintances and friends.

I like to read thriller and crime books (Dan Brown, Jo Nesbo) and some opinion journalism

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a member of Croatian U-20 handball national team, I've won silver medal on World Handball U-20 Championship in Hungary in 2013.
