My name’s Izaiah, and I’m currently solo traveling through Central and South America for about eight months. I was born in Miami but have been living in NYC for the past two years.

I’m an active person who loves adventure, but I also appreciate taking time to relax and reflect on life. The goal of my travels is to explore new places, meet new people, and experience different cultures, concepts, and ideas. I’m all about creating memories and living life to the fullest.

So, this one time when I was about 13, my friend and I went to the beach with our moms. We thought it’d be fun to snorkel, and, being totally absorbed in the moment, we somehow spent two hours out in the ocean. Eventually, we figured we should head back, only to arrive at the shore and find—wait for it—a full-on search party, cop boats and all, looking for us! Our moms were freaking out, and there we were, just laughing as we casually strolled out of the water like, “What’s the big deal?” Ah, good times!
