Hey Everyone,

My name is Jacques. I come from a pretty diverse multi-cultural background. Raised by a French mother and Greek/Turkish father, was born in Argentina and raised in Texas! I have never been a stranger to foreign lands and like most on this site, feel pretty comfortable in immersed in new countries and cultures. I have been traveling all my life.

I started a casting and talent mgmt company in Los Angeles 25 years ago that helps actors book roles in movies, tv shows and commercials. About 5 years ago, I realized I had become quite the workaholic and realized my life was passing me by and I needed to do something different. Mid-life crisis? Maybe, but with crisis comes clarity! I signed up for Chinese Medical school and decided I wanted to help people find balance through acupuncture, herbs, diet and yoga.

I am in the process of taking by board exams so I can finally begin this journey !

I just moved to Miami to be near my brother, nephew and niece . As I am new to Miami, I am excited to meet new people and have new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend told me about couch surfing.

I am here mostly to meet a new community of people.

I don't need a place to stay at the moment, but may in the future.
