Hi everyone. My name is Jakov. I am medical doctor specialising in cardiology. Medicine is my compromise in a way that it satisfies both my curiosity for science and necessitiy for being useful to others (though it can be harsh when thing go south professionally). My interests lie in many other areas e.g, culture, history, languages, movies (Dark Knight, Interstellar, Pixar movies, Anime etc.) , books (Trainspotting inexplicably funny, Dune for satisfying headache, Brother Karamazov for soul cleansing) as well as in plain good company which provides us with interesting stories, laughter but also quiet peace. Im also tennis (Nadal and Alcaraz fav, but very fond of Djoko) and soccer (Barcelona, good football in general) fan.
I hosted a dozen guests mostly during my Uni days with whom I had very nice experiences, then stopped my couchsurfing adventure when I had to devote major amount of my time to my profession. Now I'm more situated, fixed job though chaotic working hours, but ready to host guests and start traveling by meeting locals again.
Shortly, I would describe myself as laid-back person who likes honesty and good intentions before all, but subjectivelly specialise in funny spontaneous moments, deep talks and dissection of various topics.
