Overview
About Me
I'm a Liberal Studies (Humanities and Cultural Traditions) major at FIU, about two semesters away from graduating and becoming a middle/high school English and Social Studies (and potentially foreign language) teacher. I love language learning, culture, history, politics, literature and writing and poetry, spirituality and nature. I love music from all over the world, as well as movies and TV shows from all over. I dream of traveling the world as a polyglot and meeting interesting people the world over.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I'm far too busy right now, I'd like to get to traveling more often as soon as possible; I'd love to try out Couchsurfing, both traveling myself and hosting travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately I've been listening to Saez (French), reading La Belle et la Bete, loved reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and loved Tangerines (an Estonian-Georgian film). I say lately because it's tough for me to really choose favorites, so instead, here's what I've enjoyed most recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've completed a fair amount of my coursework for university through self-study and examination, and I've taken my Italian and French to all new levels through self-study; I'm a bit of an autodidact, and I'm pretty happy about that.
