About Me

Hi, I'm Joe. I am Cuban-American and I live in Miami, Florida and work full time as a High School Italian and Portuguese teacher . I have a B.A. in Portuguese with a minor in Italian.

I spend almost all of my free time documenting nature with iNaturalist.org I love nature photography, whether it's birds, insects, corals, plants, or fish!

The purpose of the website is to help people learn about the plants, animals, insects, fungi and any other organisms near them. If you need any tips on great nature spots near Miami, send me a message!
