About Me
It's wonderful to meet you, my name is Kelsey.
***Currently embarking on a solo road trip in the beginning of March, just me and my feline adventure companion named Teotl, from Miami to Maine.
Relocating back to my homestate to be with family and strategize the next phase of what has been a wild journey full of blessings and offbeat surprises! All good!****
I am many things, in short if I were answer the question of what I do in the world, I am a connecter. A traveler. I am a solution seeker. An innovator.
A permaculturist, nature, and local community lover. I am 200RYT, Reiki practitioner, student of the healing arts, plant enthusiast, student of herbalism, seeker of vast cultural wisdoms, advocate of the Earth, and living proof of the power of natural healing. I am a writer, a poet, and a story teller, and a musician.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couch surfed across the country in the states, a little bit in Brazil, and in Southeast Asia.
I started an eco village community with some
Friends in Florida and hosted a lot of amazing people CS style but just through word of mouth (we had our hands and spaces full always!)
I love connecting with people and experiencing different styles of life and cultures I would have never known had it not been for CS! I love seeing how other people live, decorate their homes, what they eat, meeting their loved ones, all of it!
When I settle myself and claim stewardship of my own slice of land (coming soon!) I will indeed open space for surfers in my home and support this community in the incredible ways it's nurtured and supported me.
Interests
I'm seeking all things beautiful in Nature. Mountains peaks, roaring rivers, streams, valleys, the healing ocean, rocks, deserts, forests, gardens, flowers, and everything that is beautiful in Nature.
I am seeking tribe of all sorts,
Connection is the magic of being alive! Musicians, artists, poets, mystics, healers, doers, and dreamers.
I practice/study plant medicine, herbalism, planetary/humanitary healing, learning about astrology, alchemy, ethnobotany, meditation, and I'm sure there's other things I'm missing, its always expanding anyways!
I love to learn and try new things. I love adventure.
Hiking, surfing, scuba, acro yoga, etc.
I love adventure, outdoor activities that challange the mind, body, & spirit.
I love being with community.
I love jamming with people and learning new instruments and singing my heart out.
I like to do powerful spiritual work, alone and with groups who hold a strong intention.
I am a being of light, I live and create for the greater good of all.
