ABOUT ME

All-round geeky gerly hack/Jill-of-all-trades, MAD! scientist/engineer, music publiSistah, aspiring 50m freestyle swimming sprint specialist. A compatriot to all here.

During the summer of 2011, I performed the duties of a WWOOFing Acolyte, applying my sustainable development knowledge in the field on organic farms-vineyards in N. California, USA. This includes practicing problem solving considering spherical cows, er back of the envelope calculations, whilst designing a schema for implementing hybrid renewable energy systems (wind-solar-biomass). Currently working on developing a schema for community renewable energy self-generation in the SF East Bay that includes repurposing waste and atmospheric water generation.

One day, I hope to transfer this knowledge internationally. My first stop will be back in the palmeraie of Douz, Tunisia.

90.7 FM KALX volunteer. And one of these days I'll get my music avocation back up and running, too...
