ABOUT ME

My name is Laura,

medical student since 2012., hope i'll be a great doctor one day.

I'm interested in nutrition, I'm paying a lot attention on the food I eat. I was a vegeterian from 2005 I started to eat meat in 2013, and for the last six months, since august 2015, I' m veggie again. Seems like It's my lifestyle after all.

I love reading, watching movies and TV shows. My favourite book is A Clockwork orange by Anthony Burgesse, I also love Stanley Kubrick's film based on that book
I prefer cooking and baking for people I care about, that's a kind of my hobby. Beer is my favourite meal and my favourite drink haha, JK, I don't have a favourite meal, I just love to eat delicious food and trying new recipies.

PHILOSOPHY

You're what you do everyday; therefore - you're your own habits. You can change everything, if you want it and if you do everything in favour of it. The thing is in setting your goals high enough and then working your assess off until you achieve your goal. You should never give up because everything is possible, and you're the creator of your own luck!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS Because It's an extraordinary opportunity to travel as often as you can. Also, I want to meet new intersting people, who share the same interest.

Interests

I like yoga very much, reading interesting books and study about medicine. I also love hanging with my friends, going out, talking about politics, learn new languages and travelling - that's like my favourite thing in the world!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music from 80's, my favourite gender is psychadelic rock. I also love new electronic kinds of music. My favourite performers are Joy division, The Smiths, Morissey, Manu Chao, R.E.M, Parov Stelar... I also like Jazz and fado, Cesaria Evora, Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg..

My favourite movies: The Lord of the Rings triology, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Man on the Moon (you can see that I really like Jim Carrey in his serious roles; The Number 23 is also a good one), every movie made by Giuseppe Tornatore or Tim Burton, Star Wars. I also prefer The Ice Age cartoon movie and The Simpsons. TV shows I watch: Breaking Bad, Shameless US, The Mentalist, Game of Thrones, Family Guy

Interesting books I also had been reading are The Process by Franz Kafka, Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, The Stranger by Albert Camus, The Overcoat by Nicolai Gogol, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod - (everybody should read this), The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, Destiny of Souls and Travel of Souls by Michael Newton. And a lot of romans, because that's a proper summer literature

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing for me is being a med student, because it's really difficult to get in and stay in.
I did a clerkship in Italy, it was amazing!
