Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My mate Chanel and I have enjoyed much travel through out our 7 year committed non-monogamous relationship, So we have decided to join couch surfing seeing we enjoy traveling to different cities, and countries, meeting, and sharing with new people from various backgrounds, lifestyles, and cultures.
As well we have had so many great experiences learning about other peoples lives, making new friends, and encountering mutually chosen lovers at times in different areas that have contributed to great memories, and building life long friendships, and extended our circle of connected relationships.
This is one of the reasons why we decided it would be nice to couch surf and host others when we are available here in our home in Miami, and our away home in the Island of the Dominican Republic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my second trip to the Dominican Republic (2009) knowing very limited Spanish and having only one local friend to call on-- I decided I would visit as many cities as I could through out the country. So I began to travel the country staying in over 21 different cities, visiting more than 53 cities in total. Learning the lifestyle of the locals, taking in the natural beauty the country has to offer by exploring rivers, beaches, historic sites etc. And after spending 2 months traveling there, now 10 years later, and a multitude of valued friends and loved ones there-- I am now sot after from friends, clients and strangers to provide them with tours, housing, car rentals, etc on their visit to the Island. Doing this while also contributing to creating work, and opportunity for several of my friends and contacts that I have made there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy teaching hidden American history, we love learning new cultures, customs, and beliefs while sharing in thought-provoking conversations of life, people, etc.
