ABOUT ME

I'm 29 years old, I'm living alone in a small apartment in neighbourhood called Ravnice, close to park Maksimir. Finished Mathematics and have job on Faculty of Graphic Arts; on 4th year of PhD in Mathematics; I'm volunteering for 12 years in NGO Green action as an activist; tutoring high school students math; like meeting people and going out, enjoy chocolate and spring, love biking and everything that's green :D

PHILOSOPHY

This is harder than I expected..
After finishing my studies I've been pretty confused about my goals and vision of future in general. I'm trying to take it easy and see what will life bring.. at some point of my life I would like to live (for at least couple of months) outside of Croatia, to join biketour, to explore opportunities in my new job, to be as good teacher as I can, to keep on hanging out and meeting people, not to forget things I enjoy doing for myself and others as I get older..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived with my boyfriend we had a spare room to share so we welcomed a lot of people, from CS till friends and family! Since recently I started to live alone, and I don't have so much space for CS since I have only one room, but you never know, you can still contact me and we'll see what can be done :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every time I it was great experience - if i have a choice, i don't want to travel unless couchsurfing!
I also host, and at the beginning was little bit surprised how great is that too! I always thought how surfing is much better then hosting, but it's also really cool to meet people in your home and letting them know how great life you live.. On the other hand travelers bring into your everyday life the joy of travelling via couchsurfing, and that's definitely one of the beautiful parts of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well, maybe that I got arrested with another 150 activists while defending public interest from corrupted mayor and doubtful investor.. it was the biggest arrest of nonviolent people in Croatia since the existence of the country! it happened at the end of campaign that lasted for almost 5 years (I joined through NGO Green action) and included lots of actions, performances, concerts, occupation of a street for a month when we slept there, etc. really exciting and amazing thing to see - so many people fighting for sth greater then themselves. check some youtube videos 'ne damo varsavsku' (we don't want to give away Varsavska street). there is so many stories related to this big part of my life but I'll tell you about them in person! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you mathematics, some yoga, some vegetarian cuisine, how to make your own hand cream, how to meditate, how to hitchhike, how to ride a bike or roll a joint :D

i like learning new things so i'm open for everything!!
