About Me

You could say I am a nomad because I have lived in Connecticut, Arizona, Georgia, California, Alaska, Utah, Colorado, Massachusetts,Pennsylvania and now Florida. I also have visited a few countries ( Barbados, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Greece just to name a few).

I love the experience of staying like a local instead of a tourist, engaging in lively conversations about all kinds of topics, and making new "local" friends. Thanks to my remote job, I'm transitioning into full-time travel as a digital nomad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am curious about "couchsurfing" because it's one way to travel and meet people who are kind enough to share a place to sleep while I explore their little corner of the world.

Interests

Reading, blogging, traveling, swimming, snorkeling, diving, hiking, a good craft beer or two, a juicy burger and either a craft beer or fine wine, etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

The number one movie of all time without a doubt has to be Popeye (with Robin Williams). If that's not the number one movie of all time, I don't know what it is. All I know is I yam what I yam. (No worries if you don't get the Popeye reference.)

My favorite book would have to be Adrift which is about a fella who was lost at sea for 76 days. Can you imagine bouncing along the ocean for 76 days? Aside from that, I enjoy a lot of good books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When you have done as much as I have, it's hard to say what's amazing anymore.

Living and working on a ship in Alaska?

Living and working at 10,000 feet in the mountains?

Living in a beach town on both the east and west coast of the USA?

All I know for sure is we will have amazing conversations when we talk about traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some English and ASL (American SIgn Language) but would love to learn and work on mi espanol as well as learn other sign languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make a mean pizza that doesn't bite as my way of saying thank you. All joking aside, I've also been building up a resume of housesitting assignments on TrustedHousesitters.com with excellent reviews from different owners. It's one way I can repay the favor in the future if you ever feel the need to have a sitter you are comfortable with to take care of your home (and pets if any) when you travel.
