ABOUT ME

I am very passionate about social work and social justice. My interests revolve around community development, asset building, community collaborations, research, prevention programs, inequality, spirituality, and oppression. The numerous organizations I have been associated with have afforded me with a diverse range of skills from public speaking to volunteer coordination, to data collection and analysis, case management, group facilitation, individual counseling, community outreach and engagement, and marketing. I am a very proactive individual who loves challenges and growth. I live by the notion that everyday is a gift and one should seek the best out of it. My life is my message to the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. I love the fact that traveling opens the door to seeing the commonality that all humans share. It's not in things but in people and until you understand that life will be without joy. As Chris McCandless stated, "happiness is only real when shared".

Jumped off a waterfall in Honduras, Scuba Dived in Roatan, and hung out in the jungle of Costa Rica.
