I'm currently on a gap year, volunteering and doing several work exchanges for a couple of months , trying to travel as much as I can one step at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is a huge difference between being a tourist and being a traveller, and I no longer want to be the former. Getting to know a place always means getting to know the people in it, and that is my main reason for joining Couchsurfing.

Music: everything from symphonic metal, to alternative, classic rock, and indie pop.
Movies: Obssessed with innovative romances, musicals, independent films, and anything with subtitles.
Books: Not enough space to even start on this category. Currently loving Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, and Julio Cortázar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in villages of Northern Thailand for a month.
Being robbed at gun point, tied up, and kidnapped for a few hours in a mountain and lived to tell the tale.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a decent cook and have a little experience with house cleaning and will gladly help out in whatever tasks are needed. Photography and writing are my passions, and are available to share with others if the opportunity arises. I also can help you practice your Spanish and English, take care of cats and dogs, and give you great book and movie recommendations.
