About Me
CURRENT MISSION
as i get older on the one hand i find myself getting more set in my ways, but one the other i find myself more open and accepting of people and experiences... i sense a desire to learn more about myself and others and give back something...
ABOUT ME
a fairly chilled out person with a wacky sense of humor (only i seem to think so :-)).
i studied economics in India and the US (at Cornell University) and business in Paris before drifting into theatre, and haven't left since!
PHILOSOPHY
to live and let live...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i live alone, but in a large house with relatives living upstairs and downstairs. being in the theatre, my place has always been a hub of sorts where different people come and go, stay, whatever. but you can be on your own too if you want.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
stated couchsurfing a few years ago when i was living with a friend. met some interesting people. have not found the time recently because i have been traveling, performing etc. but find it an interesting way to connect with people from different cultures...

Music, Movies, and Books
lots and lots...
i watch a lot of movies both indian and international. some of the interesting ones i watched recently: the great beauty, late quartet, 20 feet from stardom (docu), only lovers left alive, a birders guide to everything....
i used to read a lot of varied stuff, now my diet seems to be chiefly of the crime fiction genre, henning mankell, joe nesbo, peter robinson, sjowall and wahloo etc etc but i've finished everything they have written so i guess its time to move on...
i am open to all kinds of music and should listen to more than i do currently...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i see this lizard every night under my chair, he seems to seek the company of people
Teach, Learn, Share
i can cook some indian food and other stuff, but my recipes are not traditional :-)i prefer to observe and learn from people but in doing so im sure that some sharing will happen
