About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and learn&share as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm from beautiful Croatia where I grew up and finished my education. I'm co-founder of software company where we do pretty exciting new things. Dancing is my passion because it's a great way to meet new people but also to help you with personal development(mental and physic).

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is mix of everything; culture that I belong to, social impacts, family heritage and religions etc. As I'm getting older I feel how I am changing what I find great and encouraging because it forces you to keep thinking about decisions and works that you are doing in this very moment and how this will reflect your future. I can't say that I've already found my place under the Sun but maybe the life is all that about, infinitive search in the infinitive complex university. Generally I don't regret anything just learn from the past, looking forward to the future and what is most important live in this moment (still finding how :) ). You will find out more when you'll meet me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch to travelers and I'm very keen about listening and sharing with CSs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I joined CouchSurfing I knew it for almost 2 years before when I heard one incredible happy love story from my friend who actually got married with guy that she met over CS. I didn't have any chance to see what is all about till my first visit to the USA where I had business conference. Of course, my first thought was only about saving the money but after staying with my first hosts in Boston and New York I was amazed. I came back home so enriched that I immediately decided this will become my life style. In very short period I hosted over 20 people because Zagreb is capital city so it's very popular. Not only I have good experience with everyone, I have amazing experience with all my guests and with all this people around which you met through all kinds of life situations that CS is getting you into it.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last great book I read was "Things Fall Apart", Chinua Achebe. I really love books, I always have at least 2 or 3 books on my night table. I think books are a way of opening minds in today globalized and controlled world. But regardless how books are great I always give priority to personal experience and learning.

Love European cinematography!

Music: classical music, oldies, French chansons, Italian San Remo, movies soundtracks etc (I know my taste is like I'm 100 years old but what I can do :)))

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Moldova, Namibia, Philippines, Romania, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
