Hi This is Oli from Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

I can call myself a Photographer but what I do mostly is observe. I observe things in front of me and attempt to take a picture of it with my inner instincts. I am passionate about lighting, nature, PEOPLE, abstract visuals, experimental ambient music (I do create some experimental music myself). I don't talk much because I am a good listener. I like 'people watching'... how they go on with their lives, how they make things around them, how they happen to be who they are.. just observing all the time. I love pets (especially dogs). And above all I LOVE TRAVELING (well who doesn't)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the last 25 years of my life I have been in the comfort zone (24/7). I have realized that life has a bigger picture and that can be seen only if I walk out of this mundane zone. I do not want to end up at a hotel again with everything served up to my door. Why fall in that zone again? After all I want to travel to meet PEOPLE.

So... PEOPLE.. that's why I am here. I want to meet people from everywhere. Hear their stories, their struggle, their victories, their memories, intellectual discussions, philosophies, life lessons, learn new skills from them.. etc. I want to be with the WORLD around me, not in a hotel room hunting for experiences online. I want to experience every HOME. People are the real experience.
