Overview
About Me
I'm interested in learning more about the world around me. As deeply as I can.
I would love to say I'm a laid-back guy, but I enjoy deep, intense discussions on a variety of subjects, and I'm always game for a conversation that challenges my preconceived notions.
I enjoy making seemingly profound statements that are anything but.
I believe in treating people as I would hope they'd treat me - respecting their preferences and personal space.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new people from different parts of the world and see the world through perspectives that are totally different from mine.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of fantasy writer Steven Erikson - The Malazan Book of the Fallen is simultaneously the funniest, most thought-provoking, and gripping set of books I've ever read.
Movies - ambiguous ones like Shutter Island, Jigarthanda, Inception.
TV shows - my favourites are 30 Rock, The Office, and Arrested Development, The Wire, Breaking Bad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taken a train from San Francisco to Chicago - it took 54 hours, but what better way to see the vast open plains of the western US!
Apart from this, I've travelled to many national parks across the US - Bryce & Zion in Utah, Olympic and North Cascades in Washington, and Denali and Kenai in Alaska.
Teach, Learn, Share
All of them? Why not?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook reasonably well - not an expert, mind, but I spent 7-8 years in the US eating my own food, so potentially good Indian food.
Countries I’ve Visited
