Having hosted a few dozen cycle tourists at my home in Chennai over the last two years, I was inspired to take up cycle touring myself and am currently touring through Australia.

What impressed me the most about cycle touring was the absolutely minimalist take on life - where you have reduced your needs to what can be carried on two wheels powered by your own legs.

On the road I have had some amazing experiences and have had the privilege to meet some very incredible people. Each day is a new day, it's all good, and never say never!

Crossed the Australian continent on a bicycle!

I was so unfit when I started that the first person in Australia who heard of my plan tried to encourage me by saying "Don't worry, you will get fit on the way!"

If I can do it then anybody can.
